Second Guessers

Broadcast History: Unsold Pilot, December 29, 1969

Main Game: This game is played with one celebrity on stage and a second guesser out in the audience. A question is asked and the celebrity would answer yes or no. The second guesser's job is to determine if the celebrity's answer is right or wrong. If the second guesser is right, that person wins a special prize. If wrong, he/she does not win the special prize. Various questions are asked by "Roving Reporter" Jack Clark at the Miami International Airport and at the Seaquarium in Miami. Five people are asked a question. (Example: If you woke up single-- no strings attached --would you marry the same girl again?) Five people chosen at random-- and on the spot --were asked a question and their answers varied based on their opinions.

INTERESTING FACTS AND TRIVIA

Brenda Vaccaro co-starred with Dustin Hoffman in the X-Rated film Midnight Cowboy which won an Academy Award and is the only X-Rated film to do so. Other Dustin Hoffman films included Hook (1991) and Tootsie (1982).

Jack Carter was an occasional celebrity player on Match Game 73 and Tattletales.

Episode Existence: Only the pilot exists. Second Guessers never made it to a series. This pilot aired on GSN on October 28, 2000 as part of an "Unsold Pilots" marathon.
