He Said She Said

Broadcast History: September 8, 1969 to September 4, 1970, Five-a-week-syndication, Black and White/Color

Host: Joe Garagiola
Announcer: Johnny Olsen
Executive Producer: Howard Felsher
Producer: Ira Skutch
Director: Paul Alter
Music: Score Productions
Packager: Mark Goodson/Bill Todman Productions
Studio: Rockefeller Center, New York City, New York

Main Game: The four celebrity spouses (husbands or wives) are onstage at the beginning of the show. The host reads the question and the first three spouses that raise their hand tell a story and give a one-word or two-word clue. The fourth spouse is locked out. Then, the host picks up the telephone and calls on the isolated spouses. The host then goes from left to right by posing the same question and the clue. The husbands/wives backstage sound their signal if they think they recognize their mate's clue. If their story matches, they got 25 points. If they did not match, they lost 10 points. All four couples started with 100 points. At half time, the husbands and wives switch places and game play resumes. The couple with the highest score won the game and $250 for the winning couple in the studio audience and a trip to the Holiday Inn of their choice.
