Broadcast History: Unsold Pilot, February 7, 1981
Main Game: A contestant(s) earns a dollar a second while on stage by performing a series of stunts brought on by Bob Eubanks and if at anytime the contestant(s) fails to do part of a stunt correctly, he/she has to pay a penalty. That penalty can range from the "Pie Factory" to the "Robot Pulls Down Shower Handle". Each object (Example: Shower Handle) is numbered 1 to 4. If he/she chooses the one object that does not have any danger, he/she beats the penalty and keeps playing. Otherwise, the game is over and the contestant(s) keeps whatever amount of money earned during the course of the game. However, during the course of the game, each player is playing against an "Outside Event". If the outside event occurs at anytime during the game, he/she loses all the money earned during the game. Outside events can range from a slot machine hitting the jackpot to a baseball game where either team scores.
INTERESTING FACTS AND TRIVIA
All players started out with $100 on the clock. When the bell sounded, the clock started running. If a contestant(s) reaches $500, another $500 would be added to their total. Whenever time ran out at the end of the show, the contestant(s) decides whether to continue playing on the next show or if they should quit and go home with the money earned while on stage.
